What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza FDD, SpeedLine is not responsible for equipment issues if the equipment was not supplied by them or implemented by them or a trained integrator. Specifically, SpeedLine is not responsible for problems or incompatibilities arising where the equipment is not supplied by SpeedLine or where the equipment and/or the software are not implemented by SpeedLine or an integrator who has completed SpeedLine's integrator training to SpeedLine's satisfaction.
This means that if a Beggars Pizza franchisee chooses to source equipment from a third-party vendor or uses an unapproved installer, they assume full responsibility for any issues that may arise with that equipment. This could include malfunctions, software incompatibilities, or any other problems that could impact the operation of the franchise.
It is important for prospective Beggars Pizza franchisees to carefully consider the implications of this policy. While sourcing equipment from alternative vendors may seem like a cost-saving measure, it could ultimately lead to increased expenses and operational disruptions if problems arise. Franchisees should weigh the potential risks and benefits before deviating from SpeedLine's approved suppliers and installation procedures. To ensure support and warranty coverage, franchisees should adhere to SpeedLine's recommendations for equipment and implementation.
