What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, SpeedLine is not responsible for any electronic communications, User Data, or Customer Content that are delayed, lost, altered, intercepted, or stored without authorization during transmission across networks not owned or operated by SpeedLine. This includes transmissions over the Internet. This lack of responsibility extends to all data transmitted across networks that SpeedLine does not own or operate.

This means that as a Beggars Pizza franchisee, you bear the risk for any data breaches or losses that occur during transmission over third-party networks. This includes the Internet. You are responsible for implementing security measures to protect data during transmission.

Beggars Pizza franchisees should understand the implications of this and consider appropriate security measures. This may include encryption and secure network protocols, to protect data as it is transmitted. Franchisees should also ensure they have adequate backup systems, as they are responsible for maintaining their own data backups.
