What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the software products are manufactured in Canada. The document also specifies that the software products from SpeedLine require specialized technicians for implementation and training. These services are provided by SpeedLine technicians who possess the necessary expertise.
For franchisees outside of Canada, SpeedLine will provide the implementation and training services. Alternatively, if Beggars Pizza approves another supplier, that supplier will be responsible for training the franchisee's personnel. If the franchisee chooses to handle implementation and training themselves, their personnel must complete SpeedLine's training program and adhere to SpeedLine's specifications, subject to written approval from SpeedLine.
If additional training is needed for new or replacement personnel, SpeedLine reserves the right to charge the franchisee its standard rates plus expenses. The software can only be used at the location specified in the franchise agreement and on the number of terminals corresponding to the number of SpeedLine software user licenses the franchisee has acquired.
