What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beggars Pizza has the right to remotely retrieve data from the franchisee's computer system at any time. Specifically, Beggars Pizza may remotely retrieve and use data and information from the franchisee's Computer System or Required Software that Beggars Pizza deems necessary or desirable at any time.
This means that as a franchisee, you must allow Beggars Pizza to access your computer system remotely. The data retrieved can be used by Beggars Pizza as they see fit. The franchisee is responsible for the costs associated with maintaining the computer system and installing any required software.
This level of access is fairly common in franchising, as it allows the franchisor to monitor performance, ensure compliance with standards, and gather data for marketing and operational improvements. However, franchisees should ensure they understand what data is being collected and how it will be used.
