What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for certain taxes. Specifically, if a Beggars Pizza franchisee utilizes SpeedLine software, the franchisee is responsible for paying all value added taxes, withholding, and other taxes, levies, or duties related to SpeedLine fees and charges.
This means that as a Beggars Pizza franchisee, you will need to budget for and remit these taxes in addition to the standard subscription fees for the SpeedLine software. It is important to understand which taxes apply in your specific location and to ensure timely payment to avoid any penalties or disruptions in service.
Franchisees should consult with a tax advisor to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, where franchisees are generally responsible for all taxes related to their specific business operations.
