As between SpeedLine and Customer, Customer accepts responsibility for use of the SpeedLine Pay App in relation to any Device, whether or not the Device is owned by Customer.
Customer and/or its End User is responsible at their cost to: (i) provide all Devices and any other equipment or systems necessary to use the SpeedLine Pay App, (ii) meet the operating system and other system requirements for the SpeedLine Pay App; and (iii) obtain Internet access and pay all telecommunications charges for use of the SpeedLine Pay App. Customer and its End Users are required to comply with all technology control or export laws and regulations that apply to the technology used or supported by the SpeedLine Pay App.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the customer, meaning the franchisee, accepts responsibility for the use of the SpeedLine Pay App in relation to any device, regardless of who owns the device. This includes devices owned by the franchisee's employees or contractors (referred to as "End Users"). The agreement regarding the SpeedLine Pay App was last updated on January 30, 2024.
This means that as a Beggars Pizza franchisee, you are accountable for how the SpeedLine Pay App is used on any device accessing it for your business, even if you don't own the device. This responsibility includes ensuring that the app is used correctly and in compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in the agreement with SpeedLine.
Furthermore, the franchisee and/or their end users are responsible for providing the devices and systems necessary to use the SpeedLine Pay App, meeting the operating system requirements for the app, and obtaining internet access and paying all telecommunications charges for its use. They must also comply with all technology control or export laws and regulations that apply to the technology used or supported by the SpeedLine Pay App. This places the onus on the franchisee to manage and secure the devices and data related to the app's usage within their Beggars Pizza franchise.
