What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza FDD, the customer, which in this case would be the franchisee, is responsible for paying all applicable taxes, duties, and other governmental tariffs, fees, and other charges related to the sale of SpeedLine equipment and services, as well as the granting of the software license. These charges are based on SpeedLine's designated supply facility location, if applicable, and the location where the equipment and software will be implemented, used, and the services provided.
This means that when a Beggars Pizza franchisee purchases SpeedLine equipment and software, they need to factor in these additional costs on top of the purchase price. The exact amount of these taxes, duties, and fees can vary depending on the location of the SpeedLine supply facility and where the Beggars Pizza franchise is located. It is important for franchisees to understand that these costs are their responsibility and should be included in their budget.
Furthermore, if the currency of payments has not been specified in the Quote, then the Customer agrees that the currency of all payments under this Agreement will be United States currency.
