What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the customer, which would be the franchisee, and/or its end users are responsible for meeting the operating system and other system requirements for the SpeedLine Pay App. This means the franchisee must ensure that all devices used with the app meet the necessary specifications.

This responsibility includes providing all devices and any other equipment or systems necessary to use the SpeedLine Pay App. Additionally, the franchisee is responsible for obtaining Internet access and paying all telecommunications charges for the use of the SpeedLine Pay App. This places the onus on the franchisee to maintain and update their systems to remain compatible with the app's requirements.

SpeedLine is not responsible for incompatibilities caused by changes in computer hardware or operating systems made after the software's release, or if software updates are incompatible with the franchisee's existing hardware or operating system. Furthermore, SpeedLine is not liable if the franchisee uses hardware or operating systems not supplied or implemented by SpeedLine or a trained integrator. Therefore, it is crucial for a prospective Beggars Pizza franchisee to carefully consider these technology requirements and budget accordingly to avoid potential disruptions or additional costs.
