Who is responsible for maintaining backups of User Data for Beggars Pizza?

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, the customer, which in this case is the franchisee, is responsible for maintaining their own backups of User Data. User Data is stored on the franchisee's servers where the SpeedLine POS Solution is installed. SpeedLine may make and use copies of User Data to make the Service available, but they are not obligated to store or retain any User Data on behalf of the franchisee.

This means that as a Beggars Pizza franchisee, you must implement and manage your own data backup systems to protect customer information. This responsibility includes ensuring the accuracy, quality, integrity, legality, and reliability of all User Data. SpeedLine will take commercially reasonable security measures to protect Customer Content and User Data against unauthorized disclosure or use.

SpeedLine is not responsible for any electronic communications, User Data, or Customer Content which are delayed, lost, altered, intercepted, or stored without authorization during the transmission of any data whatsoever across networks not owned or operated by SpeedLine, including, without limitation, the Internet. Upon termination or expiration of the agreement, SpeedLine has no obligation to retain the Customer Content or User Data and may delete any Customer Content and User Data in its possession at any time after 30 days.
