What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to participate in Beggars Pizza's customer complaint program. This program may require the franchisee to offer free gift certificates at the franchisee's expense to customers who complain about service at their restaurant.

This means that as a Beggars Pizza franchisee, you will likely be directly responsible for addressing customer complaints and resolving them according to the franchisor's guidelines. This could involve providing complimentary items or discounts to dissatisfied customers to maintain customer satisfaction and uphold the brand's reputation.

It is important to note that the specific details of the customer complaint program, including the extent of the franchisee's financial responsibility and the procedures for handling complaints, are prescribed by Beggars Pizza in their manual or other written communications. Prospective franchisees should carefully review these materials and seek clarification from the franchisor regarding their obligations under the customer complaint program.
