What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is solely responsible for the costs associated with maintaining and repairing the Computer System. This includes keeping the system in good condition and covering the expenses for any additions, changes, modifications, substitutions, or replacements that Beggars Pizza directs in writing.
Beggars Pizza may specify the brands, types, makes, and models of computer systems and hardware that franchisees must use. This includes back office and point of sale systems, printers, archival back-up systems, internet access, and security systems. Franchisees are also responsible for installing any required software, updates, supplements, modifications, or enhancements to the software at their own expense.
This means a prospective Beggars Pizza franchisee should be prepared to budget for ongoing maintenance, repairs, and potential upgrades to their computer systems and software. Failing to maintain the Computer System according to Beggars Pizza's standards could result in the franchisee being out of compliance with the franchise agreement.
