What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the SpeedLine software can only be used at the customer's location as specified in the Quote. The number of terminals on which the software can be used must be equal to the number of SpeedLine Solutions software user licenses received by the customer. However, certain software programs can only be used on one of the customer's terminals, as specified in the Quote.
Beggars Pizza franchisees must obtain prior written consent from SpeedLine before making any changes to the location or increasing the number of terminals using the software. This ensures that the software is used according to the licensing agreement and that SpeedLine maintains control over its distribution and usage.
This requirement is important for prospective franchisees to understand, as it directly impacts their operational capabilities and costs. Franchisees need to carefully assess their terminal needs and ensure they acquire the appropriate number of software licenses to avoid any disruptions or compliance issues. Failure to comply with these terms could result in penalties or termination of the software license agreement.
