What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to the standards and specifications established by Beggars Pizza for all products sold or offered for sale at the restaurant. Beggars Pizza establishes these standards and specifications in the manual or in writing.

Specifically, franchisees must purchase all food items, ingredients, supplies, materials, and other products and equipment used or offered for sale at the restaurant from Beggars Pizza, its affiliates, or designated suppliers. These suppliers must demonstrate the ability to meet Beggars Pizza's standards and specifications and have adequate quality controls and capacity to supply the franchisee's needs promptly and reliably. Beggars Pizza may require franchisees to purchase any approved products, equipment, and merchandise solely from Beggars Pizza or an affiliate.

Therefore, Beggars Pizza has the authority to require franchisees to discontinue selling certain menu items if they do not meet the franchisor's standards and specifications or are not purchased from approved suppliers. This ensures the uniform quality and image associated with the Beggars Pizza brand.
