SUSPENSION OF ONLINE SERVICES: In addition to other applicable remedies, SpeedLine may suspend Customer's access to the Online Services (or any part thereof) upon 5 business days' email notice if Customer's account becomes delinquent (falls into arrears) or Customer materially breaches this Agreement and such breach has not been cured within such 5 days' period, in lieu of termination of this Agreement (but without limiting SpeedLine's right to terminate this Agreement at any time after such suspension).

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, SpeedLine may suspend a customer's access to online services if the customer's account becomes delinquent or if the customer materially breaches the agreement. However, SpeedLine must first provide a 5 business days' email notice to the customer before suspending access. The notice gives the customer an opportunity to rectify the breach or address the delinquency within that 5-day period.

This means that a Beggars Pizza franchisee will receive an email notification from SpeedLine if they are behind on payments or have violated the terms of their agreement. The franchisee then has 5 business days to resolve the issue to avoid suspension of their online services. This could include paying any outstanding balances or correcting any actions that constitute a material breach of the agreement.

It is important to note that this suspension is 'in lieu of termination' but does not prevent SpeedLine from terminating the agreement at any time after the suspension. This indicates that even if the franchisee addresses the issue within the 5-day notice period and avoids suspension, SpeedLine still retains the right to terminate the agreement later. Franchisees should, therefore, take any notice of potential breach or delinquency seriously and act promptly to resolve the issue to maintain a good standing relationship with SpeedLine and avoid potential termination.
