According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to acknowledge that the disclosure document summarizes certain provisions of the franchise agreement and other information in plain language. Franchisees must read the disclosure document and all agreements carefully. Beggars Pizza must provide the disclosure document to prospective franchisees 14 calendar days before they sign a binding agreement or make a payment to Beggars Pizza or an affiliate in connection with the proposed franchise sale.
Beggars Pizza franchisees must also acknowledge receipt of the disclosure document and the included exhibits. These exhibits include the table of contents of the manuals, the franchise agreement, the commissary agreement, state administrators, agents for service of process, existing Beggars Pizza restaurants, former franchisees, Speedline Solutions, Inc. Agreements, the renewal addendum, and state effective dates.
This acknowledgement is a standard practice in franchising, ensuring that franchisees have had the opportunity to review the key terms and conditions before committing to the franchise. It also serves as a protective measure for Beggars Pizza, demonstrating that they have provided the necessary information to the franchisee as required by federal and state laws.
