Regarding the SpeedLine agreement, can Beggars Pizza make payments to an entity other than SpeedLine?
Beggars_Pizza Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
The Service may contain features designed to interoperate or communicate with applications and services supplied by entities other than SpeedLine ("Third Party Applications"). Third Party Applications may be provided integrated and included as part of the Service or Customer may be required to obtain access to the Third Party Applications from their supplier and/or agree to the supplier's fees and terms of service (in which case their terms of service will govern Customer's use of the Third Party Application and it is provided without representation, warranty or condition by SpeedLine). If the supplier of any Third Party Application ceases to make it available and/or the supplier's fees and terms of service (if any) are not acceptable to Customer, SpeedLine may cease providing access to such Third Party Application and the corresponding Service features without entitling Customer to any refund, credit, or other compensation.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement outlines specific payment terms related to the SpeedLine system. Beggars Pizza franchisees are generally required to make payments directly to SpeedLine for the services provided under the agreement. However, the SpeedLine system may contain features that integrate with third-party applications.
In some instances, a Beggars Pizza franchisee might be required to obtain access to these third-party applications directly from their suppliers. In such cases, the franchisee may need to agree to the supplier's fees and terms of service, which would govern the franchisee's use of the third-party application. This implies that while the primary payments for the SpeedLine service are directed to SpeedLine, there could be ancillary payments made to third-party suppliers for integrated applications, if required.
Therefore, while the core subscription and support fees are paid to SpeedLine, franchisees should be aware of potential additional costs associated with third-party applications that integrate with the SpeedLine system. It is important for prospective Beggars Pizza franchisees to clarify with the franchisor and SpeedLine about any required or optional third-party integrations and their associated costs to accurately assess the overall financial commitment.
