What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, for all initial training courses, seminars, and programs required, Beggars Pizza will provide instructors, training materials, and technical training tools at no charge to the franchisee. However, the franchisee is responsible for any reasonable registration fees and all other expenses incurred by the franchisee and its employees in connection with the initial training program and any additional courses. These expenses include, but are not limited to, the costs of transportation, lodging, meals, and wages.
This means that while the core components of the initial training are covered by Beggars Pizza, franchisees should budget for travel, accommodation, food, and potential wage costs for themselves and their managers. This is a fairly standard arrangement in the franchise industry, where the franchisor provides the training content and expertise, while the franchisee covers the logistical costs of attending.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these additional expenses when evaluating the overall cost of investing in a Beggars Pizza franchise. It would be prudent to inquire about the typical duration and location of the initial training program to estimate these associated costs accurately. Understanding these costs upfront will help in making an informed decision about the financial feasibility of the franchise.
