Manuals
In order to protect our reputation and goodwill and to maintain high standards of operation under the System, you must operate the Restaurant in accordance with the standards, methods, policies, and procedures specified in the Manuals that will be loaned to you for the term of your Franchise Agreement once you complete the initial training program to our satisfaction. The Manuals may consist of multiple volumes of printed text, computer disks, other electronically stored data, DVDs, and/or videotapes. We may provide a portion or all of the Manuals (including updates and amendments), and other instructional information and materials, in or via electronic media including through the Internet. If your copy of the Manuals is lost, stolen, or destroyed, you must obtain another copy of the Manuals from us and pay us a replacement fee of $250. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Manuals, which contain the standards, methods, policies, and procedures for operating a Beggars Pizza restaurant, are loaned to the franchisee for the term of the Franchise Agreement. This occurs once the franchisee has satisfactorily completed the initial training program.
The Manuals may be provided in various formats, including printed text, computer disks, electronically stored data, DVDs, and videotapes. Beggars Pizza may also provide the Manuals, including updates and amendments, and other instructional materials through electronic media, such as the Internet.
If a franchisee's copy of the Manuals is lost, stolen, or destroyed, they must obtain a replacement from Beggars Pizza and pay a fee of $250. The table of contents of the Manuals is included as Exhibit B in the disclosure document. Franchisees are also required to adhere to the standards and requirements outlined in the Manuals regarding advertising and promotional activities, including the format and type of media channels used.
