What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must get prior written consent from Beggars Pizza before deviating from the franchisor's standards and specifications, including purchasing from non-approved suppliers. This requirement applies to all products, ingredients, materials, supplies, paper goods, fixtures, furnishings, equipment, signs, and menu items.

To maintain quality and service, a franchisee must operate their Beggars Pizza restaurant in strict compliance with the methods, standards, and specifications outlined in the manual or in writing by the franchisor. This includes using only products and ingredients acquired from designated or approved suppliers. Beggars Pizza may designate itself or an affiliate as the approved supplier for any products or items.

Franchisees are required to buy designated products and supplies exclusively from Beggars Pizza, Begcom, or other sources specified by Beggars Pizza in the manual or in writing. This ensures uniformity throughout the Beggars Pizza system. The franchisee must also enter into Begcom's current commissary agreement for purchasing designated products and must make payments as required by that agreement.

If a franchisee fails to make payments to Beggars Pizza, its designee, or Begcom, Beggars Pizza and Begcom can suspend or refuse shipments until payment is made. They may also require cash-on-delivery payments for future shipments. All products must be stored, maintained, and served according to Beggars Pizza's standards, including using approved equipment from delivery to sale. Products not meeting freshness or quality standards must not be offered for sale and must be removed upon Beggars Pizza's request.
