What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must keep their restaurants open for the minimum hours and days that Beggars Pizza specifies. To deviate from these standards, specifications, and procedures, a franchisee must obtain Beggars Pizza's prior written consent.
This means that while Beggars Pizza sets the minimum operating hours, a franchisee can request a change. However, the franchisor has the final say, and the franchisee must receive written approval before altering their hours of operation. This requirement ensures uniformity across all Beggars Pizza locations and protects the brand's reputation.
For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of understanding the required minimum hours before signing the agreement. If a franchisee anticipates needing different hours due to local market conditions or personal circumstances, they should discuss this with Beggars Pizza during the due diligence process. Getting clarity on the flexibility around operating hours is crucial for ensuring a successful and sustainable business.
