What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must get prior written consent from Beggars Pizza before installing any fixtures, furnishings, equipment, decor, signs, or other items on or about the premises.

All products sold or offered for sale at the restaurant, and other products, materials, supplies, paper goods, fixtures, furnishings, and equipment used or sold at the Restaurant, must meet Beggars Pizza's current standards and specifications, as established in the Manual or otherwise in writing. Except as otherwise provided, a franchisee must purchase all food items, ingredients, supplies, materials, and other products and equipment used or offered for sale at the Restaurant for which Beggars Pizza has established standards or specifications solely from Beggars Pizza, an affiliate of Beggars Pizza, or suppliers (including manufacturers, distributors, and other sources) designated by Beggars Pizza that demonstrate to the continuing reasonable satisfaction of Beggars Pizza the ability to meet Beggars Pizza's standards and specifications, who possess adequate quality controls and capacity to supply Franchisee's needs promptly and reliably, and who have been approved by Beggars Pizza in the Manual or otherwise in writing.

Beggars Pizza may require a franchisee to purchase any approved products, equipment, and merchandise solely from Beggars Pizza or an affiliate of Beggars Pizza. This requirement ensures uniformity and quality control across all Beggars Pizza locations, but it may limit a franchisee's ability to source items from other vendors, even if those items are more cost-effective. Franchisees should carefully review the list of approved suppliers and understand the process for requesting approval of new suppliers or products to ensure they can operate efficiently and meet Beggars Pizza's standards.
