What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase products and equipment from approved sources. Specifically, for items with established standards or specifications, franchisees must buy solely from Beggars Pizza, its affiliates, or designated suppliers. These suppliers must demonstrate the ability to meet Beggars Pizza's standards, have adequate quality controls and capacity, and be approved by Beggars Pizza in writing or in the manual.

In simpler terms, if a franchisee wants to use a supplier not already approved by Beggars Pizza, that supplier needs to prove they can meet the brand's quality and supply standards. This involves demonstrating adequate quality controls and the capacity to reliably meet the franchisee's needs. The supplier must then be formally approved by Beggars Pizza, either through inclusion in the operations manual or via written approval.

This requirement ensures consistency and quality across all Beggars Pizza locations. While it limits a franchisee's choice of suppliers, it aims to maintain brand standards. A prospective franchisee should inquire about the specific criteria and process for supplier approval to understand the flexibility they have in sourcing products and equipment.
