What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beggars Pizza has the right to photograph both the interior and exterior of a franchisee's restaurant. Beggars Pizza can then use these photographs in any advertising or promotional materials it creates.

However, Beggars Pizza is not obligated to provide any compensation to the franchisee or the franchisee's employees for the use of the restaurant's image or the employees' likenesses in these advertising or promotional materials. This means that while Beggars Pizza can use the images for its benefit, the franchisee will not receive direct payment or other financial consideration for this use.

Furthermore, the franchisee is required to cooperate in securing the consent of any individuals who are photographed for these advertising or promotional purposes. This implies that franchisees must assist Beggars Pizza in obtaining the necessary permissions from people who appear in the photographs to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and avoid potential legal issues.
