For Beggars Pizza, what are the permissible uses of Customer Content or User Data by SpeedLine?

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, SpeedLine's permissible uses of Customer Content or User Data are limited. SpeedLine is permitted to use Customer Content or User Data only to provide the Service to the customer and for statistical reporting or analytical purposes. The agreement specifies that SpeedLine can aggregate, use, disclose, distribute, and publish anonymous statistical or analytical Customer Content or User Data regarding the use and functioning of its system. This aggregated and anonymized data becomes the sole property of SpeedLine.

This means that while SpeedLine can analyze how customers are using the system to improve its services, it cannot use identifiable customer information for other purposes without the customer's consent. Beggars Pizza retains ownership of its customer data, but grants SpeedLine a non-exclusive license to use, copy, store, transmit, and display this data to the extent necessary to provide and maintain the service. Beggars Pizza is also responsible for maintaining its own backups of User Data, as SpeedLine has no obligation to store or retain any User Data on behalf of the Customer.

Beggars Pizza should also be aware that SpeedLine may delete any Customer Content and User Data in its possession at any time after 30 days after termination or expiration of the Agreement, unless legally prohibited. Both parties must comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws. Beggars Pizza is responsible for obtaining necessary consents from individuals under data protection laws and laws governing anti-spam and commercial messages to enable SpeedLine to provide its services.
