What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, payments for SpeedLine purchases must be made in full before SpeedLine provides the access code to activate the software. Beggars Pizza franchisees can make these payments via pre-authorized credit or debit card, account debit, certified check, cashier's check, bank draft, money order, or other means approved in writing by SpeedLine in advance.

If a Beggars Pizza franchisee chooses to pay via credit or debit card, they will be responsible for covering the fees that SpeedLine incurs from the credit card or debit card issuer. This means the franchisee's total payment will include both the original amount due to SpeedLine and the additional charges levied by the card issuer.

This policy ensures that SpeedLine receives full payment before granting access to its software, which is a common practice to protect the vendor's interests. Beggars Pizza franchisees should factor in potential credit or debit card processing fees when budgeting for SpeedLine purchases to avoid any unexpected costs.
