What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the parties involved in the Franchise Agreement Renewal Addendum are Beggars Pizza Franchise, LLC, identified as the Franchisor, and the Franchisee. The agreement is entered into to renew the Franchisee's rights under a prior agreement. The Franchisee operates a Beggars Pizza restaurant at a specific location and desires to continue operating under a renewal franchise agreement with Beggars Pizza.

The Renewal Addendum modifies specific sections of the original Franchise Agreement. These modifications include deleting and replacing clauses related to the restaurant's location, renewal rights, and various operational aspects. For example, the addendum removes the Franchisee's right to further renew the Franchise Agreement after the current term. It also stipulates that any manager employed by the Franchisee must complete Beggars Pizza's training program within 90 days of being hired.

The document emphasizes that the parties intend to be legally bound by the terms and conditions set forth in the addendum. This indicates that both Beggars Pizza and the Franchisee have a mutual understanding of their obligations and rights during the renewal period. The Franchisee acknowledges the importance of maintaining Beggars Pizza's standards of quality, cleanliness, appearance, and service. The Renewal Addendum serves to update and clarify the terms under which the Franchisee will continue to operate their Beggars Pizza restaurant.
