- Franchisor must furnish to Franchisee the following:
- a. Such site selection guidelines and consultation as Franchisor deems advisable;
- b. Such on-site evaluation as Franchisor deems advisable as part of its evaluation of Franchisee's request for site approval; provided, however, that Franchisor will not provide on-site evaluation for any proposed site prior to Franchisor's receipt of the information or materials required by Paragraph 4 hereof. If on-site evaluation is deemed necessary and appropriate by Franchisor, Franchisor will conduct up to two (2) on-site evaluations at Franchisor's
expense. For each additional on-site evaluation (if any), Franchisee must reimburse Franchisor for Franchisor's related expenses including, without limitation, the costs of travel, lodging, and meals.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor will furnish on-site evaluations as deemed advisable as part of the evaluation of the franchisee's request for site approval. However, Beggars Pizza will not provide on-site evaluation for any proposed site before receiving the required information or materials.
If Beggars Pizza considers an on-site evaluation necessary and appropriate, it will conduct up to two on-site evaluations at its own expense. For any additional on-site evaluations beyond the initial two, the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing Beggars Pizza for all related expenses. These expenses include, but are not limited to, the costs of travel, lodging, and meals incurred by the franchisor during the evaluation.
It is important to note that Beggars Pizza's approval of a site indicates only that it believes the site meets the minimum acceptable criteria established by Beggars Pizza for its own purposes at the time of evaluation. The franchisor does not guarantee the suitability of the site for the restaurant or any other purpose. The franchisee acknowledges that their acceptance of the franchise for the restaurant's operation is based on their own independent investigation of the site's suitability.
