What This Means (2025 FDD)
The 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document does not specify how often a franchisee must submit verification of the addresses to which hard copy advertisements were delivered. However, the FDD does state that franchisees must refrain from mailing or delivering hard copy advertisements outside of their territory. This includes door hangers, hand-out advertisements, coupons, mailers, or other hard copy advertisements to business and residential addresses outside of the Franchisee's Territory.
While the FDD does not explicitly state a required submission schedule for address verification, it does mention that Beggars Pizza may determine acceptable and unacceptable advertising related to these restrictions, either in the Manual or in writing, at its discretion. This determination by Beggars Pizza will be binding.
A prospective Beggars Pizza franchisee should inquire about the specific requirements for verifying advertising distribution, including the frequency and method of submission, during their due diligence. Understanding these requirements will help ensure compliance with the franchise agreement and avoid potential penalties.
