You and all managers of the Restaurant approved by us must successfully complete our initial training program at any time prior to the opening of the Restaurant. Any managers subsequently employed by you must complete our training within 90 days of their date of hire. Our initial training program consists of approximately 15 days of training at our headquarters in Blue Island, Illinois and/or at an affiliate-owned Beggars Pizza® Restaurant in Illinois.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all managers approved by Beggars Pizza, including the franchisee, must complete the initial training program before the restaurant opens. For managers hired after the restaurant opens, they must complete the training program within 90 days of their hiring date.
The initial training program consists of approximately 15 days of training. This training takes place at Beggars Pizza headquarters in Blue Island, Illinois, or at an affiliate-owned Beggars Pizza restaurant in Illinois. Beggars Pizza provides the initial training program on an as-needed basis and does not charge tuition or fees for training materials.
However, franchisees are responsible for all expenses related to training, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages for themselves and their managers. The training program's content and schedule may change without prior notice, depending on updates to materials, methods, manuals, personnel, or other factors. The specific subjects and time allocated to each subject may also vary based on the experience of the individuals being trained.
