LOCATION AND NUMBER OF TERMINALS: The on-premises implemented software may be used only at the Customer's location as specified in the Quote, and only on the number of terminals which is equal to the number of SpeedLine Solutions software user licenses received by the Customer or, in the case of certain of the software programs, only on one (1) of the Customer's terminals, as specified in the Quote.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, the number of terminals on which the on-premises software can be used is determined by the number of SpeedLine Solutions software user licenses the customer receives. The software can be implemented at the customer's business location. For certain software programs, the software can only be used on one of the customer's terminals, as specified in the Quote.

To increase the number of terminals or change the location of the terminals, the Beggars Pizza franchisee must obtain prior written consent from SpeedLine. The franchisee is responsible for meeting SpeedLine's implementation criteria for site preparation, facilities, and specifications before implementing the equipment and software.

This means a prospective Beggars Pizza franchisee needs to carefully consider their current and future terminal needs when negotiating the SpeedLine quote. Any underestimation could lead to additional costs and the need for SpeedLine's approval to expand the software's use to more terminals. It is important to discuss these software requirements with Beggars Pizza and SpeedLine during the due diligence process to avoid potential limitations or unexpected expenses after signing the franchise agreement.
