Franchisor may specify or require that certain brands, types, makes, and/or models of communications, computer systems, and hardware be used by Franchisee including, without limitation, (a) back office and point of sale systems, data, audio, and video, systems for use at the Restaurant, (b) printers and other peripheral hardware or devices, (c) archival back-up systems, (d) Internet access mode and speed, and (e) physical, electronic, and other security systems (collectively, the "Computer System").

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Computer System that franchisees may be required to use includes several components. These include back office and point of sale systems, data, audio, and video systems for use at the restaurant.
The Computer System also includes printers and other peripheral hardware or devices, archival back-up systems, Internet access mode and speed, and physical, electronic, and other security systems. Beggars Pizza retains the right to specify the brands, types, makes, and models of these components.
Beggars Pizza also has the right to develop, have developed, or designate computer software programs that franchisees must use in connection with the Computer System. These Required Software programs may also include updates, supplements, modifications, or enhancements. Franchisees are responsible for the costs associated with purchasing, leasing, and maintaining the Computer System and Required Software.
