What This Means (2025 FDD)
The 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document outlines the requirements for franchisees regarding product sourcing. Franchisees must purchase all food items, ingredients, supplies, materials, and equipment from Beggars Pizza, its affiliates, or approved suppliers that meet the franchisor's standards and specifications. These suppliers must demonstrate the ability to meet Beggars Pizza's standards, have adequate quality controls, and reliably supply the franchisee's needs.
However, the FDD does not explicitly state the procedure or consequences if Beggars Pizza revokes approval of a previously approved product or supplier. The document only specifies that all products must meet the franchisor's current standards and be purchased from approved sources.
A prospective Beggars Pizza franchisee should ask the franchisor about the specific steps to take if a previously approved supplier loses approval. Understanding the process for transitioning to a new supplier, potential impacts on supply chain and costs, and how Beggars Pizza supports franchisees during such changes is crucial for making an informed investment decision.
