What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee fails to pay an invoice on time, the supplier will provide a notice of the failure to pay. Upon receiving this notice, the franchisee has five days to correct the payment failure.
If the franchisee does not make the required payments within the five-day cure period, the supplier has the right to immediately terminate the Beggars Pizza franchise agreement. This could result in the loss of the franchise.
Beggars Pizza requires franchisees to maintain a designated bank account for the operation of the restaurant and to deposit all revenues into this account within two days of receipt. Franchisees must also authorize the supplier to withdraw funds from this account via electronic funds transfer (EFT) for all payments due. This system is designed to ensure timely payments and reduce the risk of late or missed invoices.
