What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, for all training courses, seminars, and programs required by Section 6.1, Beggars Pizza will provide instructors, training materials, and technical training tools at no charge to the franchisee. This means that franchisees will not have to pay separately for the personnel who conduct the training, the resources used during the training sessions, or any specialized equipment needed for technical instruction.

However, franchisees should be aware that while these specific elements of the initial training program are provided at no charge, they are responsible for all other expenses associated with attending the training. These expenses include any reasonable registration fees, transportation, lodging, meals, and wages for themselves and their employees. Therefore, while the core training elements are covered, franchisees need to budget for the additional costs to ensure they and their managers can complete the required training.

This arrangement is fairly typical in the franchise industry. Franchisors often cover the direct costs of the training program itself, such as materials and instructors, but franchisees are usually responsible for the travel and living expenses of their trainees. This division of costs helps to make the franchise opportunity more accessible while still ensuring that franchisees are invested in receiving proper training.
