What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has the right to modify the Beggars Pizza system during the agreement. The franchise agreement states that Beggars Pizza franchisees agree to operate their restaurants under the Beggars Pizza system, which includes various elements that may be changed and improved by Beggars Pizza from time to time.
This system includes, but is not limited to, distinctive exterior and interior designs, décor, color schemes, fixtures and furnishings, standards and specifications for products and supplies, uniform standards, specifications, and procedures for operations, procedures for screening, recruiting, and training personnel, payroll and bookkeeping procedures and policies, training and assistance, marketing methods, and advertising and promotional programs. These elements can be changed, improved, and further developed by Beggars Pizza during the term of the agreement.
Beggars Pizza also has the right to designate new Proprietary Marks for use in connection with the System. This means that Beggars Pizza franchisees must adapt to any changes or updates that Beggars Pizza implements to maintain uniformity and quality across all franchise locations. This could include adopting new technology, equipment, or operational procedures as directed by Beggars Pizza.
