What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for damages or losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information they supply. Specifically, this responsibility relates to the SpeedLine software used in the business.
The FDD states that SpeedLine is not responsible for damages or losses connected to inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer (which in this case is the Beggars Pizza franchisee). The franchisee is also responsible for all costs and expenses associated with any changes required due to this inaccurate or incomplete information.
This means that if a Beggars Pizza franchisee provides incorrect or missing data that leads to problems with the SpeedLine software, they will be held liable for any resulting damages or losses. This could include financial losses, operational disruptions, or other issues caused by the faulty information. The franchisee will also have to cover the expenses for correcting the errors.
This clause highlights the importance of franchisees ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all information they provide, especially concerning the SpeedLine software. Franchisees should implement careful data entry and verification procedures to minimize the risk of errors and potential liability.
