What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to strict guidelines regarding advertising materials. Beggars Pizza requires that all advertising, including internet advertising, meet the specifications outlined in their manuals. This means a franchisee cannot use any advertising that Beggars Pizza has not prepared or previously approved within the last six months.
Before using any advertising, a franchisee must submit it to Beggars Pizza for approval. If a franchisee uses unapproved advertising materials, or continues to use materials that were once approved but have since been disapproved, they must immediately stop using them upon receiving written notice from Beggars Pizza. This requirement ensures that all advertising aligns with the brand's standards and image.
Furthermore, Beggars Pizza franchisees are required to participate in all promotional programs developed by Beggars Pizza for the system. This coordinated approach to advertising and promotions helps maintain a consistent brand message and supports system-wide marketing efforts. These restrictions are common in franchising to protect brand uniformity and reputation.
