What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must maintain a sufficient supply of approved products and ingredients. Specifically, they must only use products and ingredients acquired from suppliers designated or approved by Beggars Pizza. Additionally, franchisees must use other ingredients, products, materials, supplies, paper goods, fixtures, furnishings, equipment, signs, and menu items that conform to Beggars Pizza's standards and specifications.
This requirement ensures that all Beggars Pizza restaurants maintain a consistent level of quality and service. It also prevents franchisees from deviating from the established standards by using nonconforming items without prior written consent from Beggars Pizza. Beggars Pizza retains the right to designate itself or an affiliate as the approved supplier, or the only approved supplier, of any products or other items.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they will need to carefully manage their inventory to meet customer demand while adhering to the approved supplier list and product specifications set by Beggars Pizza. Failure to comply with these requirements could result in the franchisee being in breach of the franchise agreement.
