What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to participate in all promotional programs that Beggars Pizza develops for the System. This means that as a franchisee, you do not have the option to opt out of any promotional activities or campaigns initiated by the franchisor.
Beggars Pizza also requires that all advertising, including internet advertising, meet their specifications as outlined in the manuals. Franchisees must submit all proposed advertising materials for approval before use and cannot use any advertising not prepared or previously approved by Beggars Pizza within the preceding six months. Furthermore, franchisees must immediately stop using any unapproved advertising materials upon receiving written notice from Beggars Pizza.
These stipulations ensure that all Beggars Pizza locations maintain a consistent brand image and marketing strategy. While franchisees must adhere to the franchisor's promotional programs and advertising guidelines, this also provides them with the benefit of leveraging established marketing strategies and brand recognition. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand these requirements and factor them into their business planning and budget considerations.
