Can a Beggars Pizza franchisee operate under a name other than "Beggars Pizza®"?

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must operate and advertise their restaurant only under the name "Beggars Pizza®", unless otherwise authorized or required by Beggars Pizza. The franchisee must use all proprietary marks without any prefix or suffix. Additionally, the franchisee cannot use the proprietary marks as part of their corporate or other legal name.

Upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, the franchisee must take action to cancel any assumed name registration or equivalent registration that contains the mark "Beggars Pizza®" or any other proprietary marks.
