What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee needs to obtain prior written consent from Beggars Pizza before making alterations to the premises. Specifically, while franchisees are responsible for maintaining the premises, including making necessary additions, alterations, repairs, and replacements, they are prohibited from making alterations without the franchisor's approval.

This requirement ensures that all Beggars Pizza locations maintain a consistent brand image and adhere to the franchisor's standards. This control helps protect the overall brand and customer experience.

Furthermore, franchisees must purchase and install all fixtures, furnishings, supplies, and equipment, including décor and signs, as directed by Beggars Pizza. They must also refrain from installing any items without prior written consent. This reinforces the franchisor's control over the restaurant's appearance and functionality, ensuring uniformity across all franchise locations. This also applies to the sources of products, as all products sold or offered must meet Beggars Pizza's standards and specifications.
