What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to install updates, supplements, modifications, or enhancements to the Required Software at their own expense. Beggars Pizza has the right, but not the obligation, to develop, have developed for it, or designate computer software programs that franchisees must use in connection with the Computer System.
This means that as a Beggars Pizza franchisee, you must keep your software up to date with any changes the franchisor deems necessary. These updates, supplements, modifications, or enhancements to the Required Software must be installed at the franchisee's expense.
This requirement ensures that all Beggars Pizza locations operate on the same software platform, maintaining consistency and potentially enabling system-wide updates and data collection. The franchisee is responsible for the costs associated with these installations, which can impact their operating expenses. Franchisees should factor in these potential costs when evaluating the overall investment and profitability of a Beggars Pizza franchise.
