What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beggars Pizza may photograph the interior and exterior of a franchisee's restaurant and use these photographs in advertising or promotional materials. Beggars Pizza is not required to compensate the franchisee or their employees for the use of the restaurant or the franchisee's employees in advertising or promotional materials.
Importantly, the franchisee must cooperate in securing consent from individuals who are photographed for such advertising. This means that if Beggars Pizza intends to use photographs featuring customers or employees in their advertising, the franchisee is responsible for helping to obtain the necessary permissions or releases from those individuals.
This requirement ensures that Beggars Pizza can use images of its restaurants in promotional materials while respecting the privacy and rights of individuals featured in those images. It is a standard practice in franchising to ensure compliance with advertising regulations and protect the brand's image.
