What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are explicitly prohibited from framing or mirroring the SpeedLine service. The agreement with SpeedLine grants franchisees a limited license to access and use the service, but it does not grant any ownership rights.
This restriction means that a Beggars Pizza franchisee cannot present the SpeedLine service in a way that makes it appear as their own or integrate it into another service. This is a standard clause to protect SpeedLine's intellectual property and prevent unauthorized use or modification of their service.
The FDD specifies that franchisees may not copy, alter, resell, or sublicense the SpeedLine service. They are also prohibited from reverse engineering the service or using it to create a competing product. This ensures that franchisees use the SpeedLine service as intended and do not infringe on SpeedLine's rights. Any violation of these terms could lead to termination of the agreement and potential legal action.
