- 7.6 Fixtures, Furnishings, and Equipment.
Franchisee must purchase and install, at Franchisee's expense, all fixtures, furnishings, supplies, equipment including, without limitation, décor and signs as Franchisor may reasonably direct from time to time, and must refrain from installing or permitting to be installed on or about the Premises any fixtures, furnishings, equipment, décor, signs, or other items without Franchisor's prior written consent.

Franchisees are also responsible for maintaining the premises, including adjacent public areas, in a clean and orderly condition and in excellent repair. This includes making necessary additions, alterations, repairs, and replacements at their own expense, such as periodic repainting or replacing obsolete signs, furnishings, equipment, and décor as directed by Beggars Pizza. At the franchisor's request, but no more than once every five years (unless sooner required by the lease), franchisees must refurbish the premises at their expense to conform to the current image for new Beggars Pizza restaurants, which may include structural changes, remodeling, redecoration, and modifications to existing improvements.
