What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement does not specify a mandated number of hours a franchisee must be present at the restaurant. However, Beggars Pizza requires the franchisee to keep the restaurant open for the minimum hours and days that Beggars Pizza may specify. These hours and days will be specified in the manual or otherwise in writing.
This means that while Beggars Pizza does not dictate the franchisee's personal presence, it does control the restaurant's operating hours. A prospective franchisee should consider this when evaluating the time commitment and staffing needs for the franchise. The franchisee must ensure the restaurant adheres to the minimum operating hours set by Beggars Pizza to maintain standards and customer service.
It is important for a potential Beggars Pizza franchisee to clarify the typical and minimum required operating hours during due diligence. Understanding these requirements will help in planning staffing, managing personal time, and projecting operational costs. The franchisee should also inquire about the process and frequency with which Beggars Pizza might change these minimum hours, as this could impact the business's flexibility and profitability.
