If you are signing your Franchise Agreement to renew your existing franchise, you must sign the Renewal Addendum attached to this disclosure document as Exhibit J and pay a renewal fee as prescribed in your expiring Franchise Agreement when you sign your new Franchise Agreement in lieu of the initial franchise fee described above.
If we permit an affiliate to operate a Beggars Pizza® Restaurant, the affiliate will not pay an initial franchise fee. Except as described above, the initial franchise fee is uniform for all franchises currently being offered.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees who are renewing their existing franchise agreement will pay a renewal fee instead of the standard initial franchise fee. The renewal fee amount is determined as prescribed in the franchisee's expiring Franchise Agreement. The FDD also states that the renewal fee ranges from 10 to 33 percent of the initial franchise fee.
The initial franchise fee for a Beggars Pizza restaurant is $25,000 for restaurants with 150 or fewer seats and $40,000 for restaurants with more than 150 seats. Therefore, the renewal fee will be between 10% and 33% of whichever initial franchise fee was applicable to the franchise agreement being renewed.
For a Beggars Pizza restaurant with 150 or fewer seats, the renewal fee would range from $2,500 to $8,250. For a Beggars Pizza restaurant with more than 150 seats, the renewal fee would range from $4,000 to $13,200. The renewal fee is due when the franchisee signs the new Franchise Agreement and is recognized when services related to the renewal agreement are completed.
