- 16.5 Assignment of Telephone Number.
Franchisee must cease using all telephone numbers and directory or other business listings used in connection with the Restaurant.
At Franchisor's option, Franchisee must assign to Franchisor all rights to such telephone numbers and directory and other business listings, and must sign all forms and documents required by Franchisor and any telephone company to effect such transfer.
Franchisee appoints Franchisor as Franchisee's true and lawful agent and attorney-in-fact with full power and authority for the sole purpose of taking such action as is necessary to complete such assignment and Franchisee must execute Exhibit E for such purpose.
This power of attorney will survive the expiration, termination, or transfer of the Agreement.
Franchisee is not entitled to any compensation from Franchisor if Franchisor exercises its rights or options under this Section 16.5.

According to the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, a franchisee must cease using all telephone numbers and directory or other business listings used in connection with the restaurant. At the franchisor's option, the franchisee must assign to Beggars Pizza all rights to such telephone numbers and listings.
To effect the transfer of telephone numbers and listings, the franchisee must sign all forms and documents required by Beggars Pizza and any telephone company. Furthermore, the franchisee must execute Exhibit E for this specific purpose.
Beggars Pizza is appointed as the franchisee's attorney-in-fact with full power and authority to take necessary actions to complete the assignment.
