SpeedLine agrees to provide the license for the software described in the Quote and the Customer agrees to pay the amount set forth in the Quote for such license on the terms and conditions set forth herein and in the Quote. The form of the license shall be in SpeedLine's current standard form of Software License Agreement, except for (where applicable) the SpeedDine online ordering service which shall be in SpeedLine's then current standard form of SpeedDine Online Ordering System Subscription Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the SpeedDine online ordering service is an exception to the standard SpeedLine Solutions Inc. Software License Agreement. Instead of the standard agreement, the SpeedDine online ordering service is subject to SpeedLine's current standard form of SpeedDine Online Ordering System Subscription Agreement.

This means that if a Beggars Pizza franchisee uses the SpeedDine online ordering service, the terms governing its use, limitations, and liabilities are outlined in a separate subscription agreement specifically designed for that service, rather than the general software license agreement. This is important for franchisees to understand because the rights, obligations, and restrictions related to the SpeedDine service will be different from those of other SpeedLine software components they might use.

For a prospective Beggars Pizza franchisee, this highlights the importance of carefully reviewing all agreements related to software and online services. Franchisees should pay close attention to the specific terms of the SpeedDine Online Ordering System Subscription Agreement if they plan to use that service, as it will govern their rights and responsibilities differently than the standard software license agreement.
