What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beggars Pizza has the sole discretion to decide whether to provide advice and assistance on the proper implementation of the System and the operation of the Restaurant. This assistance is available upon the franchisee's reasonable request. If Beggars Pizza does provide this advice and assistance, they may impose their then-current fee for these services, which is currently $75 per hour or $550 per day.

This means that while franchisees can request help with implementing the Beggars Pizza system or running their restaurant, Beggars Pizza is not obligated to provide it. Beggars Pizza ultimately decides if and when they will offer this support.

For a prospective franchisee, this implies that reliance on franchisor support beyond the initial training is not guaranteed. Franchisees should be prepared to operate their Beggars Pizza location with the knowledge gained from the initial training and the manuals provided. If additional support is needed, it may come at an extra cost, and there's no assurance it will be provided. This is a fairly common practice in franchising, where franchisors balance support with maintaining their own operational efficiency. Franchisees should factor this potential cost and uncertainty into their business planning.
